I created this account a while ago. And my intent was to present the random thoughts that come into my head and random encounters in life. So I'll start with last night...I went to HH with my good friend who is leaving - leaving this job, leaving Philly, leaving. Alas, I'll blog about our diversions.
First we hit up Le Castagne for Center City Sips. I do recommend it - $3 glasses of wine typically and other specials. Speaking of specials, they were out of John Dalys and Capridinas which I kind of wanted...but wine instead and we sat at the end of the bar and listened to these old ladies discuss how they want to die. That was a rather dire discussion, so we moved on. On to Smiths. Now my thing with Smiths is that they used to have Wii. I don't have that stuff at home because I'm just not home and quite frankly I would never play with that at home. Just when drinking with friends. But they decided to get rid of the Wii which was slightly annoying a few Monday nights ago when I took some colleagues there for a late night Wii bowling match.
So onto the randomness...when leaving Smiths, we walked past Matyson. We proceed, in our 3 sheets to the wind state, to pointing to the third picture on the right in the restaurant and discussing that it looks like a vagina. Two other girls join us on the sidewalk and we are all pointing to the picture discussing its merits. The poor people in the restaurant really wondered what on earth we were doing, but we were entertained which is all that matters. Picture on right - I mean Matyson has this picture on their website. They must be proud of it. It gets weirder. Random dude comes out of the bar to smoke. Smoking is gross. Anyway, he joins in our viewing. And for WHATEVER reason, he proceeds to tell us about his famed term flesh lettuce. I'll let you work that one out. It's disgusting. I think I had blocked the term out of my mind but then my friend reminded me of it this morning. I mean really boys, where do you come with this????
